The Khatlintg glacier is a lateral glacier, at the source of river Bhilangana. The trek to the Khatling Cave is moderate . However , beyond the cave, there are more strenuous sections over scree and boulders to reach the snout of the glacier.According to legends a celestial nymph tried to lure lord Shiva, while the almighty was at meditation. She was spurned by him and was dissolved into liquid form, thus originating the Bhilanganga. Nature has bestowed her bounty on the vale of Bhilanganga in abundance, and the rich pature lands are ideal camping sites. The enchanting beautiful valley of Bhilangana affords a panoramic view of Himalayan snow-capped peaks and hanging glaciers.Some of them are Jogin group, Kirti stambh and Meru which are sublime and magnificent. The trek commands through huge thick dense forests, while on the way one have to cross the beautiful lush green meadows, where one can relax and have a panoramic view with blooming beautiful different colours of flowers and butterflies. After crossing the meadow one have top cross passes near by Marsar Tal , the other pass come between Khatling and Chobia, the passes are negotiates glaciers, moraines and a snow patch. While on trek one have to cross some small streams on improvised log bridges, roaring river Bhilan Ganga. The moraines on the hanging glaciers look likes standing walls of gravel and mud. A semi-frozen lake, called Bhi Sarovar, is the central point on one of the moraines. The flat land on these moraines and the Kunali bughyals are excellent pasture lands during summer and rainy season.

Early morning drive to Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is an important pilgrimage center equated with Varanasi or Kashi in Divinity.Every Year on the occasion of Mahamela people visit Uttarkashi to take a Holy dip in Bhagirathi along with the idol of their local deities Arrive and transfer to riverside nature Resort. On day 5 trek, we undertake a walk of 14 kms to reach Kyarki with packed lunch.

07 : (Parital):
14 kms trek to Parital with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Camp
08 : (Bhimtal):
12 kms trek to Bhimtal/ Taddiudyar via Sahasratal with packed lunch. Dinner
& overnight in camp.
09 : (Kalyani):
16 kms trek to Kalyani with packed lunch. Dinner & overnight in Kalyani.
10. KHARSOLI / KHATLING CAVE TREK 4-5 HRS
OVERNIGHT : CAMP
trail follows the river before entering a forest of oak, spruce and silver
birch. Near by there is a impressive waterfalls on the opposite side of the
valley. We trek through dense forest and reach to a flat and beautiful meadow
Tambakund, the trail winds through alpine meadow , juniper and silver birch to
the Khatling Cave. O/N Camp.
11. KHATLING CAVE / KHATLING GLACIER / CHOBIA TREK 5-6 HRS
OVERNIGHT : CAMP
is the most difficult treks till Khatling glacier, the trek commands descends
steeply to the riverbank before ascending boulder and scree slopes beside the
Bhilan Ganga. The Khatling glacier is associated with the giant hanging glaciers
of Ratangian, Jogin and Phating.
Explore the area and return back to KHATLING CAVE. O/ N CAMP.
12. KHATLING CAVE MASARTAL TREK
4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP
the trail follow the ill-defined shepherds trail (steep in places) across
boulder fields; be prepared for the occasional rock scramble. The view are
magnificent : across the upper sections of the Khatling Glacier and towards the
high pass the Auden Col (5400m) leading to Gangotri. The Jogin peaks are
in view, as is Jaonli (6630m).
trek leads across high alpine pastures and scree slopes to the serene waters of
Masar Tal (4590)m, which is waters frozen until at least mid-June. Explore the
Lake and O/N Camp.
13. MASARTAL - VASUKI TAL - MAYALI
PASS TREK 5-6 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP
we trek to Mayali Pass (5400m) via Vasuki tal. Vasukital
A picturesque lake, 4,135 mts. Above seas level is encircled by lofty
mountains and offers a commanding view of the Chaukhamba peaks. O/N Camp.
14. VASUKI TAL -
KEDARNATH TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP
after breakfast our trek commands to Kedarnath. The trail passes through huge
dense forest and beautiful meadow. After 4/5 hrs we reach to One of the Hindu
Holy pilgrimage center, Kedarnath.
Kedarnath shrine is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot
situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. At an altitude
TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : HOTEL/CAMP
a 15 km descend to Gaurikund from Kedarnath.
Gaurikund a temple dedicated to Gauri and thermal springs of medicinal
value are noteworthy.
16. GAURIKUND RISHIKESH
8-9 HRS OVERNIGHT : HOTEL/CAMP
trace our step back to Gate of Garhwal Himalayas Rishikesh, a long drive to
Rishikesh, lunch enroute , O/N Hotel / Camp.
Day 17. Rishikesh Delhi : One can encounter Rafting on Holy River Ganges. Further drive back to Delhi. O/N Hotel.
